防衛大学病院の若松医師・小島医師・岩鼻婦長・樋口看護師らは、２００７年１２月２８日午前10時30分～午後２時の間に、当時、防衛大学病院に肺炎で入院中の息子（当時 11 歳）に対して、インフォームドコンセントも無く（説明義務違反）、両親への承諾も無く、無断で、厚生労働省が治療とは認めていない方法である、ビニール（ナイロン）袋を頭に被せるという行為を実行、其の後、なんらかの原因で低酸素脳症、二酸化炭素ナルコーシスの状態にさせ息子の呼吸を停止させ、重度の昏睡状態、遷延性意識障害（植物人間状態）にさせた。
しかも、上記の原因により自発呼吸も少なくなるという重症の遷延性意識障害（以下『植物人間状態』という。）、重度の昏睡状態・意識不明になり、４２度の高熱。血糖値３００以上。対光反射・角膜反射消失。身体の硬直。ミオクローヌス癲癇など、多数の治療の必要な状態になりながら、すべての必要な治療を放置された。（保護責任者遺棄？）
